The celtic warrior collection has been inspired by one of Ireland's most precious artifacts, The Ardagh Chalice (c. 800-899 AD). The Chalice was discovered in 1868 by two men digging in a ring fort in Ardagh, County Limerick, and is the finest example of 8th century metalwork ever discovered. The Ardagh Chalice is on display at the National Museum of Ireland. All stunning, hallmarked and handmade in Ireland. The Celtic Shields collection has been inspired by one of Ireland's foremost treasures, the Ardaugh Chalice. The Chalice was discovered in 1868 by two men digging in a ring fort in Ardagh, Co.
